The 12 hours of online classes will give you a solid foundation for understanding the business concepts and strategies that we will further expand on in the live class. They will also include several real-life exercises that will help you start to understand and develop your business and brand before you get to the live workshop.
Developing a World-Class Brand:
In this class, you will learn the differences between advertising, marketing, and branding. You will learn how a brand is made and what goes into making it. Then, you will be taken through several brand development exercises that will help you create or update the brand that you want.
Understanding The Power of Your Why:
In this class, you will learn what a why statement is, why it is so important, and how you can use it to dramatically increase the number of ideal clients that you can easily interest in your practice. You will also develop at least one personal why statement that you can begin using right away.
Creating A Compelling Personal Story:
In this class, we will dig deep and help you understand and develop a narrative around your personal story so you can use it to inform your story as a massage therapist. This will help you develop an honest, consistent, and highly effective narrative that you can use to attract the right clients to your practice.
Developing Your Unique Massage Experience/Offerings:
In this class, you will learn the distinctions between providing an experience vs. an outcome (or specific results). You will learn how to define what is truly unique about the massage experience or massage outcomes that you offer. You will also learn how to effectively describe your own unique Massage Experiences and/or your most profound Massage Outcomes.
Understanding Your Competition:
In this class, you will learn how to better understand and differentiate yourself and your business by understanding your “competition.” You will learn how to identify your true competition and how to do a thorough local market analysis that you can use to help you decide what services you offer, where to open your practice, how much to charge, and other important decisions.
Reputation Management:
In this class, you will learn how to create and manage the most important aspects of your online reputation: your review pages. You will also learn the best way to ask your client for positive reviews and deal with possible less-than-positive or even negative reviews.
Getting Organized, Listed, and Noticed:
In this class, you will learn about online directory listings and why they are so important. You will learn what information they want and how to format the information so that your clients and local search engines can easily find you. You will end up with one centralized document that you can use for as long as you are in business and want to maintain the best online presence possible.
The Client Process: Acquisition, Interaction, Retention:
In this class, you will learn the three most important components of the client process: 1) acquisition, 2) interaction, 3) retention, and the best practices for each one. You will identify your current or planned client processes, evaluate them for their effectiveness, and learn what you can do to improve your client process.
